Nico Nußbaum

Nico Nussbaum is Co-Founder and CTO at MicroAGI, a Munich-based physical AI company building Atlas, a hardware- and model-agnostic platform that captures real-world factory data to fine-tune and deploy robots at industrial scale.
Nico studied at RWTH Aachen University and honed his engineering skills as a Driverless Software Developer at Ecurie Aix, the Formula Student racing team at RWTH Aachen, from 2023 to 2025.
Nico brings a precision engineering mindset to the challenge of physical AI, championing the philosophy that robots need plant-specific, real-world operational data to bridge the gap between demos and reliable factory deployment.
As CTO, Nico co-leads the development of Atlas alongside CEO Bercan Kilic, deploying forward engineers on-site with customers so the system continuously learns from live operations and compounds competitive advantage each month.
MicroAGI raised $55M in Germany's largest ever seed round, has over 10,000 data operators across 15 countries, and has opened a global research HQ in Zurich while serving customers across automotive, logistics, and food industries.
