Nicolò Briante

Nicolò Briante is Co-Founder and CEO of D-Heart, an Italian biomedical company pioneering portable smartphone ECG technology to bring hospital-grade cardiac diagnostics to anyone, anywhere.
A law graduate with research experience in Business Law at Cambridge University and UCL, Nicolò studied at the prestigious Almo Collegio Borromeo of Pavia and honed his entrepreneurial skills as a selected student at the Mind the Bridge Startup School in San Francisco.
Nicolò was named to the Forbes Under 30 Most Influential Italy list in healthcare in 2019 and is a TEDx Fellow and Endeavor entrepreneur, reflecting his standing as a leading voice in digital health innovation.
Co-founding D-Heart in 2015 alongside cardiologist Niccolò Maurizi, Nicolò secured initial funding from the Vodafone Foundation and raised over 1.2 million euros to bring the product to market and achieve Class IIa biomedical device certification.
D-Heart won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award and expanded distribution to over 16 countries across 4 continents, including exclusive agreements in Brazil, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, and Kenya.
