Nikhil Prakash is Co-Founder and CTO at Jaipur Robotics, a Swiss AI company building computer vision and automation solutions for waste-to-energy and industrial plants, with a mission to make them safer, smarter, and more sustainable.

Nikhil met co-founder Ermes Zamboni at ETH Zurich, where they collaborated on intelligent waste sorting solutions, and each brought deep expertise in deep learning and industrial automation before launching Jaipur Robotics in 2024.

Nikhil brings rare depth across deep learning and industrial deployment, with prior experience developing computer vision algorithms for satellites and key roles in successful startups.

Jaipur Robotics has raised nearly $6M in total funding, including a EUR 4.3M Seed round co-led by EquityPitcher Ventures and High-Tech Grunderfonds, and was a Techstars 2024 cohort company.

The company's AI platform analyzes over 5 million tonnes of waste per year, is deployed across 35+ waste facilities in Europe, and has helped customers achieve more than 80% fewer unplanned shutdowns.
