Nikola Sivacki is Co-Founder and Head of Deep Learning at Greyparrot, a London-based AI waste intelligence company applying computer vision to transform global recycling at scale.

Nikola studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Belgrade, then spent over 15 years building state-of-the-art deep learning systems at companies including Blippar, Wonga, IBM Now Factory, and Susquehanna International Group.

At Blippar, Nikola built a landmark recognition engine verified as best in the world by Cambridge University in 2018, and at Wonga developed cutting-edge OCR systems using deep convolutional neural networks.

In 2019, Nikola co-founded Greyparrot alongside Mikela Druckman and Ambarish Mitra, channeling his deep learning expertise into solving one of the world's most pressing environmental challenges.

Greyparrot's AI platform has surpassed one trillion waste object detections across facilities in more than 20 countries, was named a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer in 2021, and recently raised $27M in Series B funding bringing total funding to $60M.
