Nir Erez

Nir Erez is Co-Founder of Vimi Adaptive Learning, an AI-powered personalized math tutoring platform built to make one-on-one tutoring accessible to every student in grades 4 through 9.
Erez graduated from Bar-Ilan University with a BSc in Physics in 1994 and trained at the IDF computer academy (Mamram), before launching his first startup, ActionBase Software Solutions, in 1999.
A serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience, Erez has been featured in Fast Company, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and U.S. News and World Report as a thought leader in technology and mobility.
Erez co-founded Moovit in 2012 alongside Roy Bick, scaling it to over 1 billion users across 100 countries before it was acquired by Intel/Mobileye for approximately $1 billion in 2020. He also co-founded Optimal Plus and co-owns Eyron Group, an early-stage software investment firm.
Vimi raised a $12M Seed round in January 2026 led by Viola Ventures and BRM Group, targeting expansion into European and North American markets by 2027.
