Nishith Khandwala (Nish) is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bunkerhill Health, a Sequoia and Khosla Ventures-backed agentic AI company on a mission to accelerate the creation and adoption of AI in healthcare.

In 2017, Nish was a Stanford computer science student and researcher at Stanford's AIMI center, where he worked on validating and translating medical imaging AI algorithms into clinical practice, sparking his vision for a faster path from research to patient care.

Nish recognized that healthcare AI was stalling not due to lack of innovation, but due to fragmented adoption, leading him to build a unified platform so hospitals would not need to work with dozens of vendors to solve dozens of problems.

Under Nish's leadership, Bunkerhill raised $55M across Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds from top investors including Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, Felicis, Optum Ventures, and Y Combinator, and grew revenue 20-fold in a single year.

Bunkerhill's Carebricks platform is now deployed at 15 leading health systems including Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, and Intermountain Health, with FDA-cleared AI agents that have already triggered life-saving interventions such as an emergency triple bypass, cut nephrology wait times by over 50%, and addressed urgent lung findings 80% faster.
