Nitish Poddar is the Co-Founder and CTO of Kastle (kastle.ai), a Y Combinator-backed AI workforce platform transforming consumer lending and banking operations.

Nitish graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and previously served as a tech lead at Verkada, becoming the youngest person in that role at age 23.

At Verkada, Nitish patented a motion search system and built out the entire backend inference infrastructure, also leading engineering for Incident Management, Verkada's newest product line at the time.

Nitish co-founded Kastle in 2024 alongside Rishi Choudhary, combining his deep backend and AI infrastructure expertise to build AI voice agents that automate high-volume workflows across consumer lending.

Kastle's AI agents have processed over $2 billion in transactions, serving major financial institutions including Newrez, Valley Bank, and Carrington Mortgage Services, and recently raised a $24M Series A led by Insight Partners.
