Nojus Bendoraitis

Nojus Bendoraitis is Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer at Copla, a regtech platform automating ICT security and compliance for regulated financial services. He brings over a decade of experience as a regulatory compliance strategist guiding fintech and financial services firms through complex EU legislation.
Nojus studied at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania and completed the CAIDP AI Policy Clinic with the Center for AI and Digital Policy. He specializes in operational resilience, cybersecurity frameworks, and third-party risk management.
Nojus co-founded Copla in 2023 alongside Aurimas Bakas and Andrius Minkevicius, who previously built and sold Paysolut to fintech unicorn SumUp in 2021. He writes extensively about emerging compliance trends including DORA, NIS2, MiCA, and the EU AI Act.
Copla raised 650K EUR pre-seed in 2023, 2.5M EUR seed in 2024, and 6M EUR Series A in February 2026 led by Iron Wolf Capital. The company achieved seven-figure ARR and serves over 100 regulated European financial services customers.
