Ofer Vicus

Ofer Vicus is Co-Founder and CEO of Aduro Clean Technologies, a cleantech company developing patented water-based chemical recycling technologies to transform plastic waste, heavy crude, and renewable oils into valuable resources. He has led the company since co-founding it in 2011 with Marcus Trygstad after nearly three years of research in bitumen upgrading.

Under Ofer's leadership, Aduro successfully uplisted to Nasdaq in November 2024 under ticker ADUR, marking a major milestone for the company. The company has developed the Hydrochemolytic Technology platform with seven granted U.S. patents.
Aduro raised approximately $4 million in its Nasdaq IPO and an additional $20 million in a follow-on offering in December 2025. The company is advancing demonstration-scale plants and partnerships with major industry players to commercialize its technology.
Aduro's technology platform addresses a global addressable market exceeding $200 billion and operates at lower temperatures than traditional methods, offering significant cost and energy efficiency advantages. The company has established operations in Canada and a European subsidiary in the Netherlands to expand market access.
