Ofri Ben-Porat is the Co-Founder and former CEO of Edgify, a London-based AI company pioneering federated learning and on-device deep learning for retail self-checkout and loss prevention.

Ofri is Israeli-born and studied Political Science at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya), and previously served as a Senior Strategic Adviser to Israel's Minister of Tourism before pivoting to tech entrepreneurship.

A self-described deeptech founder with no formal AI background, Ofri built Edgify by combining commercial acumen with a visionary approach to training AI models directly on edge devices, eliminating the need for costly cloud infrastructure.

Prior to Edgify, Ofri co-founded Pixoneye, a data analytics SaaS company using on-device AI to analyze mobile photo galleries for consumer insights, which later evolved into Edgify. He has since taken on advisory roles at AiFi Inc. and OctaiPipe.

Edgify raised over $17.9M across 4 funding rounds from investors including Octopus Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners, and Telefonica, deploying its AI retail solutions for loss prevention and self-checkout efficiency across grocery retailers globally.
