Olav Sindre Kriken is Co-Founder and COO at Tana, an AI-native productivity platform reinventing how humans, teams, and computers work together. Based in Palo Alto, he brings expertise in product-led growth, digital strategy, and business innovation.
Olav founded and sold Racer (now VDM) to Visma, one of Europe's leading software companies, where he served as Head of Agency for 10 years. He holds degrees in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Bergen.
As a four-time founder, Olav has built and exited multiple companies and worked with over 150 companies on marketing, monetization, and business models. He is deeply involved in building Tana's community of 24,000+ members and 160,000+ waitlist signups.
Tana raised 25 million in total funding across seed and Series A rounds from investors including Lightspeed, Northzone, and Tola Capital, with backers like the co-founders of Dropbox, Datadog, and Google Maps. The company has offices in Palo Alto and Norway and was valued at 100 million in its Series A.
Tana launched publicly in January 2025 after four years of development, with users at over 80% of Fortune 500 companies. The platform combines knowledge graphs, AI automation, and flexible organization to help tech-savvy professionals eliminate busywork and stay focused on high-impact work.
