Omar Hassen is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Eridu AI, a next-generation AI networking infrastructure startup redefining how data centers are built for large-scale AI workloads.
With roots in networking chip design at industry giants Broadcom and Marvell, Omar brings three decades of networking and semiconductor expertise spanning both startups and major silicon vendors.
Omar previously served as SVP of Business Development at Ventana Micro Systems, where he drove ecosystem partnerships around RISC-V computing platforms and chaired committees within RISC-V International.
Earlier in his career, Omar held VP and GM roles at AppliedMicro, guiding its transition toward optical communications, and held senior product and engineering leadership positions at Marvell and Broadcom, where he began as a switch architect.
Eridu emerged from stealth in March 2026 with an oversubscribed $230M total raise, including a $200M Series A led by Socratic Partners, John Doerr, and Matter Venture Partners, backed by TSMC's investment vehicle and targeting hyperscalers redefining AI data center infrastructure.
