Oran Moyal is the Co-Founder and CTO of Ocean Security, a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and elite cybersecurity expert who spent years as a nation-state operator before channeling that offensive expertise into building next-generation defense.

Oran served in senior security research roles at the Israeli Ministry of Defense, then led the Azure Networking Security Research group at Microsoft as Senior Security Research Manager, before co-founding Ocean in 2024.

As Oran has stated, he and co-founder Shay Shwartz spent years managing offensive social engineering operations, giving Ocean a rare attacker-first perspective that is directly reflected in the product.

Prior to Ocean, Oran served as Security Research Manager at VisibleRisk, a BitSight company, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies.

Ocean has scanned over one billion emails within its first year and now processes more than one billion emails every month, protecting Fortune 500 organizations and hundreds of thousands of employee mailboxes globally.
