Ori Cohen is Co-Founder and COO at Parametrix Insurance, the market-defining provider of parametric insurance for digital business interruption and cloud downtime risk.

Ori studied Economics and Sustainability at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) and completed the prestigious Zell Entrepreneurship Program, before co-founding Gaia EcoSolutions in 2016.

Ori and her co-founders identified a critical gap in the insurance market by targeting technology-dependent businesses left unprotected against cloud and IT outages, a category that did not previously exist.

As COO, Ori has helped grow Parametrix into a Lloyd's Coverholder and Managing General Agent backed by over 20 Lloyd's syndicates, serving Fortune 500 companies and major global asset managers.

Parametrix raised $45M in total funding including a $27M Series B in December 2025, achieved 3x top-line revenue growth, and in 2024 launched the world's first cloud outage catastrophe bond, Cumulus Re, in partnership with Hannover Re.
