Pari Latawa

Pari Latawa (Paridhi Latawa) is Co-Founder of Illume, an AI developer tools company, and a student at MIT studying Computer Science and Molecular Biology with a passion for building at the intersection of AI and science.
Pari grew up in Austin, Texas, attended the Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA), and went on to study CS and Biology at MIT, where she also co-founded EasyComm through the MIT Sandbox Innovation Fund Program.
Pari brings a rare blend of technical depth and social mission, having conducted award-winning science research that placed 2nd at the Texas Regeneron Science and Engineering Fair, and winning the Wispr Flow track at HackMIT.
She has held research and internship roles at the MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, Eli Lilly, the Broad Institute, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Boston Medical Center, building a strong foundation in AI and biotech.
Pari founded SparkED, a nonprofit that has engaged 1,000+ students globally through STEM literacy camps, speaker series, and mentoring, and was recognized as a 2021 Texas Education Agency Student Heroes Award recipient.
