OctaPulse is targeting the $300 billion aquaculture industry, the fastest growing food sector that has surpassed commercial fishing. The company has received backing from investors including AlphaLab, Innovation Works, Robotics Factory, and VentureWell.
OctaPulse's AI vision technology helps fish farms advance only high-quality fish, reducing waste of feed and labor while farms currently spend over $200,000 per year on trained technicians for manual inspection processes. The company aims to bring automation across the entire fish production lifecycle.
