Paul Schneider

Paul Schneider is Co-Founder and CTO at Fort, a Y Combinator-backed wearable technology company building automatic strength tracking devices for longevity-focused fitness enthusiasts.
Paul studied at University of California, Riverside where he designed and raced electric vehicles, then worked at Tesla on systems design and autonomy architectures for Semi and Robotaxi, and later at Rivian.
Paul brings deep expertise in consumer hardware engineering from shipping products at Tesla and Rivian at scale. He co-founded Fort with fellow ex-Tesla engineers Miranda Nover and Zac Valles in 2025.
Fort is developing a screenless wearable that automatically detects 50+ exercises, tracks reps, sets, and form using motion sensors and heart rate data. The device ships in summer 2026 with pre-orders starting at $289.
Fort addresses a rapidly growing market where strength training workouts increased 122% year-over-year on major platforms, yet existing wearables fail to deliver seamless strength tracking experiences for the longevity community.
