Pete Tickler is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Gridcog, a clean energy software platform empowering professionals to model, simulate, and optimize complex distributed energy projects across the full project lifecycle.

Pete holds a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Bath and built deep energy sector expertise at Change Corporation before co-founding Greensense in 2008, an energy analytics company later acquired by ERM Power (now Shell Energy), where he led digital innovation.

A repeat EnergyTech founder, Pete brings a rare combination of product leadership and hands-on energy market knowledge, championing a 'no black box' philosophy that keeps every model assumption visible, transparent, and auditable.

At Gridcog, Pete leads product strategy across simulation, optimization, and tracking tools that serve some of the world's largest energy transition companies, including Shell and Origin Energy, across Australia, the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Gridcog has raised a £7 million Series A led by ABB Electrification Ventures alongside Verbund Ventures, Axpo Ventures, and DNV Ventures, with clients having modeled tens of thousands of renewable energy projects across every continent on the platform.
