Peter Vajda is Co-Founder of ScienceSwarm, an AI-powered platform democratizing scientific discovery by enabling anyone to collaborate with AI on unsolved problems in math, science, and engineering.
Peter earned his M.Sc. in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a second degree in Program Designer Mathematics from Eotvos Lorand University, later serving as Visiting Assistant Professor at Stanford University from 2012 to 2014.
Peter brings rare depth at the intersection of AI research and product leadership, having directed Meta's Media GenAI foundation model work including text-to-image (Emu), Movie Gen, and text-to-video generation.
He spent 11 years at Meta as Director of Media Generation and previously led efficient deep learning for computer vision teams supporting on-device AR/VR models, publishing extensively at top venues including CVPR and ECCV.
