Peter studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and began his career building trading and wealth management platforms at Morgan Stanley, Citi, and UBS.

A tech executive and investor with 20+ years of experience scaling businesses across fintech, ad tech, and media, Peter brings rare fluency in both technical complexity and the practical realities of capital markets.

Prior to Hypha, Peter served as CTO at BuzzFeed (leading it to IPO), CTO at Narrativ (doubling revenue in year one), and Head of Engineering at Buddy Media (acquired by Salesforce), and also had four exits from six VC-backed startups.

Hypha emerged from stealth in 2025 and raised a $50M seed round backed by institutional and non-institutional investors managing hundreds of billions in private assets, establishing itself as foundational infrastructure for modern capital markets.
