Phan Thanh Long is Co-Founder and CEO of MFast (DigiPay JSC), Vietnam's leading digital-enabled direct sales agent network for financial services, operating across all 63 provinces in Vietnam and expanding into the Philippines.

Long grew up in Binh Phuoc, a rural town near the Cambodian border, where he experienced firsthand the lack of access to financial services; he later studied at UEH International School of Business and brings over 16 years of entrepreneurial experience in the tech industry.

Driven by a mission to bridge Vietnam's financial inclusion gap, Long co-founded MFast alongside his twin brother Phan Thanh Vinh after running a call centre system connecting banks with customers, which inspired the agent-based fintech model.

MFast has raised a total of $10M across 3 funding rounds, including a $6M Series A led by Wavemaker Partners in August 2023, with backing from Krungsri Finnovate, Headline Asia, Do Ventures, JAFCO Asia, and Ascend Vietnam Ventures.

At the Asia Fintech Awards 2024 in Singapore, Long was named Innovator of the Year while MFast was named Startup of the Year; the platform has served nearly 2 million end-consumers through a network of 160,000 active agents across Vietnam and the Philippines.
