Philip Krim

Philip Krim is Co-Founder and Director at ElectronX, a CFTC-regulated electricity derivatives exchange building modern financial infrastructure for the clean energy transition.
A serial entrepreneur, Philip started his first business from his dorm room at the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a B.B.A. in Marketing from the Red McCombs School of Business.
Philip is best known as Co-Founder and former CEO of Casper, where he pioneered a data-driven, direct-to-consumer model that grew revenue from $15M to nearly $500M and led the company to a successful NYSE IPO in 2020.
After Casper, Philip founded Montauk Ventures and later Montauk Climate, a platform focused on building and investing in the electron economy, while also serving as an Executive Advisor at Cove Hill Partners and a Co-Founder at Haven Energy.
Under his leadership, Casper hit $100M in revenue in its first year and expanded to 50+ retail stores; ElectronX has since raised $61.5M in funding from investors including Innovation Endeavors, SYSTEMIQ, Equinor Ventures, and Shell Ventures.
