Philip Shteyn

Philip Shteyn is Co-Founder and CTO at Offroad, a New York and Tel Aviv-based agentic identity security company helping enterprises move from identity visibility to full identity risk resolution.
Philip served as a Captain in Unit 8200, Israeli Military Intelligence, where he developed deep expertise in signals intelligence, cyberwarfare, and adversarial security operations. He is also an alumnus of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Philip brings a rare attacker-side perspective to enterprise security, arguing that traditional identity systems were built on assumptions that no longer hold in an era of AI agents and machine identities at scale. His technical leadership drives Offroad's agentic AI approach to autonomous threat investigation and remediation.
Philip co-founded Offroad in May 2025 alongside CEO Dan Bendler, and led the company through a $7M seed round backed by Ibex Investors and Skywell Capital Partners. Under his technical direction, Offroad has built integrations across 90+ enterprise systems to autonomously discover, investigate, and remediate identity risks.
Offroad's OhAuth research project audited 2,890 public OAuth apps and found that 918 (32%) carry structural exposure signals with a combined install footprint of 1.85 billion, establishing Offroad as a credible voice in enterprise identity security research.
