Dr. Philip Zimmermann is the Co-Founder and CEO of Prevision Medicine AG, an ETH Zurich spin-off pioneering functional precision oncology by testing patients' living cancer cells against a broad treatment library to guide personalized cancer care.

Philip holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from ETH Zurich and spent years building drug screening research in Professor Berend Snijder's lab at ETH, laying the scientific groundwork that would eventually become Prevision Medicine.

A serial life sciences entrepreneur, Philip previously co-founded Nebion, a bioinformatics ETH spin-off, and served as VP Business Development Europe at Immunai following Nebion's acquisition, giving him a rare blend of deep science and commercial acumen.

Philip co-founded Prevision Medicine in 2024 alongside Valentin Matillon, Yannik Severin, and Prof. Berend Snijder, closing a $5.4M seed round to accelerate commercialization of the PrevisionOne platform for hematological malignancies and solid tumors.

Prevision Medicine's PrevisionOne platform has already been developed with over 2,500 patients across at least 12 hospitals, with clinical adoption spanning Switzerland, Europe, and growing interest from the Middle East and the USA.
