Piers Daniell

Piers Daniell is Founder and CEO of Tewke, a London-based ClimateTech company developing AI-powered smart home technology to reduce energy waste and automate homes. He also serves as a County Councillor for Warwickshire and holds board positions at multiple startups.
Piers founded Fluidata (now FluidOne) in his bedroom in 2006, scaling it to over 150 employees before exiting to private equity in 2019. He previously worked as an account manager at Softcat and studied at Reading Blue Coat School.
Piers founded Jellymud, a sustainable clothing brand using recycled materials, and is Chairman and early investor in Gutology, a microbiome health company expanding across Europe and the US. He was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year and appeared on Grand Designs building a modern castle.
Tewke raised 2.75 million pounds in equity funding from investors including Revolut co-founder Vlad Yatsenko, JamJar Investments, and Cur8 Capital, with additional Innovate UK grants. The company achieved B Corp certification and won the Red Dot Award for Design Concept.
Tewke's flagship product Tap reduces home energy bills by 30% and works in over 90% of UK homes without rewiring. The company launched TewkeAI powered by Google Gemini and is chaired by Sir James Wates, former Chairman of Wates Group.
