Pratyush Saini is the Co-Founder and CTO of ByteAsk, a YC-backed AI coding agent purpose-built for C and C++, targeting mission-critical industries such as defense, aerospace, robotics, and high-frequency trading.

Pratyush earned a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi, where he met his co-founder, and went on to build deep expertise in AI infrastructure and systems engineering.

A member of the Forbes Technology Council, Pratyush leads ByteAsk's harness, retrieval, benchmarks, and model training, and personally built the C and C++ evaluation suite from public tests and real firmware bugs.

Before ByteAsk, he was a Senior AI Engineer at ThirdAI working on large-scale neural network training and the BOLT CPU-first inference engine, then a founding engineer at Simbian where he co-built an AI security agent handling over a million incidents annually. He also co-founded LawSutra AI as CTO, an AI-powered legal research platform acquired by Manupatra within four months of launch, whose technology now serves over 100,000 lawyers.

ByteAsk's internal benchmarks show its grounding environment resolves 89% of firmware engineering tickets versus 61% for the best frontier model tested without it, and engineers use the product six times more intensively per day than comparable open-source coding agents, with weekly active users doubling week on week.
