Purnima Khandelwal is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Inaara NeoFoods, a Mumbai-based food technology company building an AI-powered, closed-loop farm-to-formulation platform for global plant-based nutrition.

Purnima holds a BSc in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, and an MBA from T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), and co-founded INI Consulting in 2003 and INI Farms in 2009, becoming the first woman CEO of one of India's largest fruit exporters.

Purnima champions the belief that India's crops, talent, and agricultural scale, combined with science and technology, can create the next generation of plant-based nutrition solutions for everyday foods.

At INI Farms, she connected over 5,000 small-scale Indian farms with food retailers across 35 countries, scaling it into India's largest fruit and vegetable exporter before pivoting to deep food tech innovation.

Inaara NeoFoods secured a $2.4M seed round in August 2026, with capital deployed toward its proprietary Computational Nutrition Engine, application-specific formulation development, and upstream agricultural integration.
