Quan Huynh is Co-Founder of Haladir, a YC Winter 2026 backed company building data and training infrastructure for verifiable domains to enable reinforcement learning at scale. The company helps banks modernize mission-critical mainframe systems and translate COBOL applications into modern cloud applications.

Quan studied at Carnegie Mellon University and was highlighted by Poets & Quants through the Tepper School of Business. He spent 21 years in Canada before relocating to San Francisco to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions.

Quan cold-DMed 1,000 people and met with 5 during his first two-week trip to the Bay Area. He completed 549 job applications before ultimately choosing the startup path and founding Haladir with three co-founders.

Haladir was founded in 2025 and accepted into Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch, backed by YC and Susa Ventures. The company is based in San Francisco with a team of 4 co-founders.

Haladir serves banks and financial institutions, helping them reduce operational risk, reliance on scarce COBOL talent, and high maintenance costs while enabling faster regulatory updates and new product launches. The company has been featured at FinovateEurope 2026.
