Ranjan Rajagopalan is Co-Founder and CEO of Pramaana Labs, a San Francisco-based AI verification startup pioneering the use of formal methods to make AI provably correct in high-stakes domains like law, tax, and drug discovery.

Ranjan previously led Google Maps Moderation at Google and is an alumnus of IIT Madras, where his co-founders Krishnan Raghavan and Sanjay Ganapathy also studied.

Ranjan believes the world's hardest problems are not unsolvable but unformalized, driving his mission to build AI systems that prove their answers rather than merely guess them.

Under Ranjan's leadership, Pramaana Labs raised a $27M seed round led by Khosla Ventures, with participation from Accel, Nexus Venture Partners, Premji Invest, BoldCap, and Unbound Capital.

Pramaana has assembled an advisory network including former IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel and researchers from IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, UC Berkeley, Yale Law School, and Stanford, and has hosted its inaugural Verification Summit in San Francisco.
