Raphael Steil is Co-Founder of getquin, a Berlin-based fintech platform that helps investors track their entire net worth and portfolio in one place to make smarter, more informed investment decisions.

Raphael holds an M.Sc. in Finance from Durham University and a BSc in Economics from HEC Lausanne, and spent four years as an Associate in Deutsche Bank's M&A Financial Institutions Group in London, advising some of Europe's largest financial institutions.

The idea for getquin was born from personal frustration, as Raphael and his co-founder were manually tracking their own investments using Excel spreadsheets before building a scalable solution for retail investors.

Raphael co-founded getquin in 2020 alongside Christian Rokitta, joined the APX accelerator, closed a seed round with Sino AG and Runa Capital, and went on to raise a $15M Series A led by Portage Ventures in 2022.

getquin has grown to become one of Europe's largest investment communities, supporting over 500,000 users with more than 800,000 trackable assets and over EUR 20B in tracked assets across the platform.
