Ricardo Granada is the Co-Founder and CTO of BRAINR, a veteran engineering leader with nearly three decades of experience building mission-critical software for complex industrial environments.

With over 25 years in software development and a prior role as CTO at picsell, Ricardo honed deep expertise in event-driven microservices, AWS, and enterprise integration before co-founding BRAINR in 2023.

Ricardo architects BRAINR's cloud-native, multi-tenant platform with a relentless focus on scalability, security, and shop-floor reliability, turning smart manufacturing expertise into a product factories can trust to run operations at scale.

At BRAINR, Ricardo leads the engineering organization, defines software architecture and engineering practices, and builds an adaptable, extensible system designed to support the company's long-term growth alongside co-founders Paulo Gaspar and Rui Batista.

BRAINR's platform now supports over 1.3 billion euros in annual food production, manages over 30% of all meat production in Portugal, and delivered customers a 92% reduction in manual data entry with 100% digitized operations in under 3 months.
