Riccardo Sabatti

Riccardo Sabatti is the Founder of Avvista.ai, Italy's first AI-native platform purpose-built to help SMEs find, evaluate, and participate in public procurement tenders without a dedicated bid office.
At just 22 years old, Riccardo was studying Mathematical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a GPA above 27/30 and a 50% tuition scholarship when he launched Avvista.ai, also gaining international exposure through studies at City University of Hong Kong.
Riccardo identified that 60% of Italian SMEs struggle to compete in public tenders, and built Avvista.ai as the only Italian tool capable of auto-generating full tender documentation including DGUE and participation declarations.
Avvista.ai monitored 267,000 procurement procedures per year across ANAC BDNCP, MePA, and Gazzetta Ufficiale, and featured a competitive intelligence module analyzing over 70 million historical ANAC contracts.
Avvista.ai was acqui-hired by Milan-based Cato AI, bringing Riccardo and his team into Cato's platform, which subsequently raised a 6 million euro seed round led by Keen Venture Partners to scale AI-driven public procurement across Europe.
