Rich Barnwell is Co-Founder and CEO of Entity, a next-generation web-native gaming platform headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, on a mission to make console-quality games instantly accessible through any modern browser.

Rich studied Computer Science at the University of Portsmouth and built his career across leading gaming companies including Jagex, Jolt Online Gaming (NYSE: GME), and Scopely, before transitioning into venture capital as a General Partner at Delta Partners.

A repeat founder and investor, Rich has a proven track record of building, scaling, and exiting global gaming businesses, and has served as an angel investor and board member across multiple Irish tech startups including LegitFit, Eppione, and Jamango.

Rich co-founded DIGIT Game Studios in 2012, growing it into Ireland's largest game studio before a successful acquisition by Scopely in 2019, where he remained as Head of Studio overseeing the hit title Star Trek Fleet Command, which surpassed $100M in revenue in under eight months.

Entity raised 5M euros ($5.8M) in seed funding led by ACT, Delta Partners, and Elkstone with backing from Enterprise Ireland, and is set to launch its browser-based console-quality gaming platform in early 2027.
