Robert Drăgutoiu is Co-Founder and CTO of DesignVerse, a Bucharest-based AI platform that generates production-ready enterprise software from an organization's own design systems, documentation, and internal rules. He serves as the principal architect of the AI model pipeline powering the platform's enterprise context layer.

Robert brings over two decades of experience building complex software systems, with a career spanning advanced self-driving automotive software and AI-driven engineering platforms before co-founding DesignVerse.

As the architect of DesignVerse's AI model pipeline, Robert has championed a philosophy that enterprise AI must be built for production constraints, not prototyping, ensuring every output is safe, compliant, and architecturally aligned. His deep systems engineering background directly informs the platform's ability to operate in mission-critical regulated environments.

Prior to DesignVerse, Robert built expertise across complex domains including autonomous vehicle software and AI-powered engineering platforms, accumulating more than 20 years of hands-on experience in large-scale software development. DesignVerse, co-founded with former Oracle product design lead Andrei Manolache, has raised $5.5M in Seed funding from Begin Capital, Gapminder VC, and Underline Ventures, plus strategic angels from Adobe, LSEG, and UiPath.

DesignVerse surpassed $1.1M in ARR within five months of launch, driven entirely by enterprise clients in aviation, banking, cybersecurity, and government. The platform famously overhauled a 15-year-old EUROCONTROL legacy application in just over one month, a project estimated to take six months by conventional methods.
