Ross Krasner

Ross Krasner is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ryu Games, a Web3 gaming platform he built into the so-called Steam of Web3, featuring a downloadable PC game store, launcher, and NFT marketplace.
Ross studied Journalism at Northwestern University, where he joined the campus startup accelerator The Garage, sparking his passion for entrepreneurship, and later worked as an Editorial Assistant at LinkedIn and as a Speechwriter in the Office of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
Ross recognized that the way people find and play games had not meaningfully evolved since digital distribution began, and set out to build a decentralized, permissionless alternative for Web3-native gaming.
Under his leadership, Ryu Games raised $4M from investors including Collab+Currency, 500 Global, and NVIDIA's former Chief Scientist David Kirk, and recruited Rick Ellis, the original founder of Steam, as Chief Product Officer.
Ryu Games built and shipped a whitelabel Web3 gaming launcher with a cryptocurrency wallet, NFT marketplace, and developer tools, and was ultimately acquired by Treasure, a leading Web3 gaming ecosystem.
