Runar Finanger is Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at ONiO, a Norwegian fabless IoT company pioneering batteryless microcontrollers powered by ambient energy.

Runar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sor-Trondelag University College and previously held senior marketing roles at Novelda and Atmel Corporation, bringing over 20 years of technology industry experience.

Runar is responsible for connecting product innovation to customer needs, building the ONiO brand, and driving consumer awareness across all channels. He brings deep expertise in semiconductors, content marketing, and lead generation.

ONiO was founded in 2016 and has raised over $8M in funding, including a $5M Series A round in June 2025 led by node.vc and the European Innovation Council Fund.
