Ryan T. Gill

Dr. Ryan T. Gill is Co-Founder and CEO of Codebreaker Labs, a Boulder-based Genomic AI company building the world's first scaled and standardized functional data platform to fast-forward genomics interpretation.
Ryan earned his academic credentials through Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland, and postdoctoral work at MIT, before serving as a named Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and Danish Technical University.
With over 25 years in genome engineering, Ryan has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications and patents, and forged research partnerships with major institutions including NIH, NSF, DOE, and DOD.
Ryan previously co-founded Inscripta (serving as founding CEO and later CSO), led Artisan Biosciences as CEO, and founded Biota Technology (acquired by Novozymes in 2021) and OPXBIO (acquired by Cargill in 2015).
Codebreaker Labs closed a $4.5 million seed round led by Kickstart and is building an Atlas targeting the measured effects of 100,000 genomic variants to power next-generation clinical interpretation and biomedical AI.
