Sadra Hosseini is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ryft, a Manchester-based FCA-licensed payments infrastructure platform purpose-built for marketplaces and digital platforms competing with the likes of Stripe Connect and Adyen.

A three-time founder educated at Northumbria University, Sadra previously scaled Luxe London to multimillion-pound revenue within 2.5 years and co-founded Butlr, a hospitality Order and Pay platform that was acquired by OrderPay in 2021.

The frustrations Sadra experienced with costly and inflexible payment solutions while building Butlr directly inspired Ryft, and he is also an active angel investor in the UK fintech scene.

Ryft secured a £5.7M Series A in April 2025 led by EdenBase, with backing from the British Business Bank, Pembroke VCT, and strategic angels including PayPal executives, and has since closed a £20M Series B in September 2026 led by Gresham House Ventures.

Ryft now serves over 6,500 businesses including Epos Now, American Express, Visa, and Mastercard, with processing volume tripling year-over-year and clients reporting savings of up to 62% versus Stripe.
