Sahil Kukreja is Co-Founder of The Func. Lab, a Mumbai-based clean-label nutrition startup on a mission to bring ingredient transparency and functional simplicity to India's supplement market.

A former IPL cricketer, Sahil transitioned from professional cricket to food manufacturing, where he built a clean-label nut butter company and developed deep expertise in formulation, ingredient sourcing, and supply chains.

Sahil holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and brings a rare combination of athletic discipline, food manufacturing know-how, and entrepreneurial experience, having previously led roles at Omprakash Packaging, The Butternut Co, and True2sports.

At The Func. Lab, Sahil drives product development and supply chain strategy, co-building a portfolio of whey protein, plant protein, and electrolytes formulated without fillers, emulsifiers, or artificial additives.

The Func. Lab raised $1.5 million in seed funding from marquee investors including Nisaba Godrej and Anand Piramal, and since its July 2025 launch has rapidly expanded across D2C, quick commerce, and offline retail channels across India.
