Saisi Peter is Co-Founder of Casap, an AI-powered disputes automation and fraud prevention platform for banks, credit unions, and fintechs.

Saisi studied Computer Science at Dartmouth College and began his career in quantitative analysis at Morgan Stanley. He later led product work at Facebook, Instacart, and Chime, where he built internal tools for customer support and dispute management.

Saisi reconnected with former Meta colleague Shanthi Shanmugam in 2022, and the two incorporated Casap that December. They left their jobs in February 2023 to build it full time.

Casap raised an $8.5M seed round led by Lightspeed, a $25M Series A, and most recently a $56M Series B led by Base10 Partners with Synchrony and Experian joining as strategic investors. Total funding now stands at $90M.

Casap was selected by Money20/20 as one of seven game-changing fintechs and demoed at FinovateFall 2025. The company claims its platform can cut dispute processing costs by up to 50% while helping institutions reduce first-party fraud losses.
