Sanjay Hariharan

Sanjay Hariharan is Co-Founder and CTO at Century Health, a New York-based AI platform that accelerates drug development and commercialization by applying machine learning to real-world clinical data. He brings over a decade of deep expertise in healthcare analytics, spanning roles as a statistician, applied data scientist, and machine learning engineer.
Sanjay holds a Master of Science in Statistical Science from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to co-founding Century Health, he served as Principal Data Scientist at QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, where he developed scalable AI solutions for life sciences clients.
At McKinsey, Sanjay recognized that pharma clients consistently needed richer clinical and patient-level data beyond claims, and that repeatable analyses could be packaged into scalable software. His sepsis prediction model, developed at Duke and published at ICML, was implemented in the Duke Medical Center ICU and demonstrated the life-saving potential of AI in healthcare.
Earlier in his career, Sanjay held roles as a Technical Services Analyst at Epic, a Data Science Intern at Zodiac, and a Business Development Analyst at Wiggio, giving him a well-rounded foundation across health IT, analytics, and business development. These experiences converged to inform Century Health's mission of making siloed clinical data accessible and actionable for life sciences teams.
Century Health's proprietary AI platform CHARM achieves 97% accuracy in clinical data abstraction and has expanded its specialty provider data network 60x in one year. The company counts multiple Top 5 global pharmaceutical companies as active partners and has raised a total of $7M across pre-seed and seed rounds.
