Sara Nožková

Sara Nožková is CEO and Co-Founder of Flox Intelligence, a wildlife intelligence company building AI systems that help infrastructure prevent human-wildlife conflict. Flox uses AI and bioacoustics to detect and communicate with wildlife, enabling coexistence across airports, railways, roads, and agricultural lands.
Sara studied at Columbia University and holds a Master of Political Science in European Governance from Stockholm University. She previously worked at Kista Science City, Drive Sweden, and ITS Sweden in mobility innovation and international relations.
Sara received H.M. The King's Young Pioneer Award 2025 at the Royal Palace in Sweden, one of the country's most prestigious recognitions for entrepreneurs. She was named Female Founder of the Year at Di Digital's Female Founders event and has raised millions in venture funding.
Founded in 2020 at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Flox has raised over $4 million total, including a $3 million Seed+ round in 2026 led by Tilia Impact Ventures. The company now serves around 50 customers and has expanded commercial operations to Syracuse, New York.
Flox Edge has correctly identified over 60,000 animals since launching in 2025 and works with major partners including WWF, Alstom, Boliden Minerals, and Gerald R. Ford International Airport. The company addresses a multibillion-dollar global challenge, with wildlife collisions costing $1 billion to $1.5 billion annually in aviation alone.
