Sarah Harden

Sarah Harden is a prominent investor in Monarch Collective, the largest dedicated women's sports investment fund, and serves as CEO of Hello Sunshine, the media company founded by Reese Witherspoon that sold for $900 million in 2021. She leads Hello Sunshine's mission to change the narrative for women through storytelling across film, television, and digital platforms.
Harden holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where she graduated as a Baker Scholar and began her career at Boston Consulting Group in Melbourne, Australia. She served as President of Otter Media, a joint venture between AT&T and The Chernin Group, where she spearheaded the first investment in Hello Sunshine and generated over $400 million in revenue.
Prior to Otter Media, Harden spent a decade at News Corp and Fox, serving as Group Director at News Corp Asia overseeing growth initiatives in Hong Kong and as SVP of Business Development for Fox Networks Group. She co-founded Linkscape Software in San Francisco and has extensive experience in media, entertainment, and business development.
As an investor in Monarch Collective, Harden joined tennis legend Billie Jean King and Melinda French Gates' Pivotal Ventures in backing the $250 million fund that invests in women's professional sports teams and leagues. Monarch has invested in three NWSL teams including Angel City FC, San Diego Wave, and Boston Legacy FC, plus FC Viktoria Berlin in Germany.
Under Harden's leadership, Hello Sunshine has produced hit series including Daisy Jones & The Six, The Last Thing He Told Me, and oversees Reese's Book Club. She has been instrumental in driving equity in women's sports through her investment in Monarch Collective, which is pioneering institutional investment in the rapidly growing women's sports market.
