Sarah Kennedy

Sarah Kennedy is the Founder and CEO of Calocurb, a pioneering natural weight management company built on 15 years and $30 million of New Zealand Government-backed science, commercializing Amarasate, a breakthrough natural GLP-1 activator derived from New Zealand bitter hops.
A veterinarian by training with over 20 years of experience in dietary and animal nutrition, Sarah completed a Sloan Fellowship Program in Global Leadership and Innovation at MIT in 2010 before founding Calocurb in 2018.
Sarah brings a deeply science-backed, personal approach to weight management, driven by her own lifelong experience with food and weight, and a conviction that appetite control is physiological, not a matter of willpower.
Prior to Calocurb, Sarah served as Managing Director of Healtheries/Vitaco NZ Ltd for a decade, tripling company revenue and overseeing the merger that created the third-largest health and wellbeing company in Australasia, before holding multiple senior VP and MD roles at Fonterra.
Calocurb has raised $27 million in a Series A round led by Icehouse Ventures, sells in five international markets, won the AmCham Exporter of the Year to the USA award, and its fourth human clinical trial confirmed fat loss while preserving muscle mass.
