Sarang Zambare is Co-Founder and CEO at Baud Labs, a Y Combinator-backed AI hardware company building custom chips and a developer platform for ultra-fast model training and inference.
Sarang earned a bachelor's degree and double master's in Physics from IIT Bombay and UC Berkeley, then became a founding deep learning engineer at Caper (acquired by Instacart) and ML lead at Peloton.
A multi-time founder with 4 patents in computer vision and 7+ years in deep learning and AI hardware, Sarang is also a certified pilot and Forbes Technology Council contributor.
Sarang led the Peloton Guide device from concept to 100,000+ devices shipped, and previously founded Cerelyze and SuperCraft (YC S23), demonstrating a consistent track record of building and scaling AI products.
Baud Labs has validated its first chip on the GlobalFoundries 12nm process and launched a live training and inference service via FPGA emulation, supporting popular open-source architectures including DeepSeek, Gemma, and Qwen.
