Scott Breitenother

Scott Breitenother is Co-Founder and CEO of Kilo Code, the fastest-growing open-source AI coding agent, built to help engineering teams develop and deploy software at unprecedented speed.
Scott earned a BS in Business Management from Babson College and an MSc in International Management from the London School of Economics, before working as a Management Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting and later becoming employee #16 at Casper, where he built the company's Data and Analytics team.
Scott previously founded Brooklyn Data Co., a full-stack data and analytics consultancy he grew from his Brooklyn apartment to a 100+ person firm serving Fortune 500 clients before a successful exit.
At Kilo, Scott co-founded the company alongside Sid Sijbrandij, former CEO of GitLab, and raised $8M in seed funding led by Cota Capital with participation from General Catalyst, Breakers, Quiet Capital, and Tokyo Black.
Kilo Code has surpassed 750,000 downloads, reached the number one spot on OpenRouter, and processes more than 6.1 trillion tokens per month, establishing itself as a dominant force in the AI developer tools market.
