Sebastian Gajek

Prof. Dr. Sebastian Gajek is Co-Founder and CTO of enclaive, a Berlin-based deep tech cybersecurity company pioneering confidential computing for multi-cloud environments. He also serves as a professor of information security and cryptography at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.
Sebastian earned his PhD from the Horst Gortz Institute for IT Security in Germany and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Tel Aviv University, building a world-class foundation in cryptography and applied security.
Sebastian holds 10+ patents and publications in confidential computing, and has spent nearly two decades pursuing the challenge of processing encrypted data without ever decrypting it.
Prior to co-founding enclaive, Sebastian served as Chief Scientist at NEC Laboratories Europe, driving security innovation, and previously co-founded weeve, a venture bridging IoT and blockchain.
enclaive has raised a total of 5.75M euros in funding, earned the 2025 Prix Croissance at the InCyber Forum and the 2024 TeleTrust Product of the Year award, and serves enterprise clients across finance, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.
