Sebastian Johnston is a Co-Founding General Partner at La Famiglia, a Berlin-based venture capital fund investing in seed and growth-stage B2B technology companies across Europe and the US.

Sebastian studied at WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, Harvard University, and Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico, and worked at Conde Nast and VZ Networks in senior commercial and marketing roles.

Sebastian founded Regiondo in 2011, a SaaS booking platform for tour operators that was acquired by ProSiebenSat.1 in 2019. He has invested in multiple startups including foodora, Teatox, and Viomedo.

Sebastian has been Founder and Managing Partner of JODA MEDIA Consulting since 2008, specializing in e-commerce, digital technology, and venture capital advisory. He currently serves as Founding Partner at DIF and Venture Partner at Armira Growth.

La Famiglia has raised 250 million euros across three funds and invested in over 70 companies including decacorns like Deel, Personio, and Forto. The firm merged with General Catalyst in 2023 to create a global venture platform.
