Sergei Anikin is Former CTO and Co-CEO at Pipedrive, a sales-first CRM platform, where he drove the company from 20 employees to unicorn status with a $1.5 billion valuation. He currently serves as CEO at Tuum, a next-generation core banking platform, and is an active angel investor, board member, and advisor to multiple startups.

Sergei studied at Tallinn University of Technology and worked at Skype for over 7 years as a billing architect and team lead before joining Pipedrive. He also worked at Swedbank as manager of the development team early in his career.

Sergei was named one of the Top 25 Software CTOs of 2022 for his visionary leadership and bold ideas in engineering and infrastructure. He has over 25 years of experience in leadership roles at technology firms and is known for implementing agile organizational models that scale without losing velocity.

Under Sergei's leadership, Pipedrive grew from a small startup to Estonia's 5th unicorn, completing a majority exit to Vista Equity Partners in 2020. He joined Tuum as CEO in 2022 to drive global expansion of their cloud-native core banking platform.

At Pipedrive, Sergei led the transition to a self-managing organization and delivered fast growth during the COVID-19 pandemic by pivoting product development priorities overnight. Pipedrive serves nearly 100,000 teams globally and processes a deal every two seconds on its platform.
