Shaamil Karim is Co-Founder at Atlas Discovery, a biotech AI company building foundation models of patient drug response trained on pre-clinical and clinical data to predict how humans respond to drugs before clinical trials.

Shaamil studied at Dartmouth College and built an early career spanning applied AI research at Etched, GPU benchmarking, and engineering roles at RunPod and Origin, gaining deep expertise in AI model development.

Shaamil's virtual cell research has been accepted to two academic conferences, and he has authored industry research on the virtual cell revolution published by Contrary Research.

Prior to Atlas Discovery, Shaamil founded Diginoor, India's largest NFT marketplace, securing deals with major content houses including Reliance and Rajinikanth IP, and later served as a Venture Partner at Contrary, contributing to portfolio companies like Ramp and Anduril.
